Hi, my name is Trevor. I have Cerebral Palsy and I live in South Australia.
I waited for 120 days to get SDA funding into my plan.
The waiting time was awkward to get through because waiting is not good for a person with CP and I don’t think people realise that the waiting not only affects the person with disability but also other people in their lives. So the longer it takes the harder it is to make plans.
I’ve signed a conditional offer for an apartment in the city and I’ve had that waiting for me to see if I get the SDA funding.
It would be good for politicians to understand what waiting does.
